Choose Your Product Options:
Specifications
Preferred File Format: We prefer print-ready PDF files. Here’s why: If you produce a print-ready PDF file with the fonts embedded, what you see on your screen will be very close to what you’ll see on the printed page.
Accepted File Formats: We can accept the following file formats: .pdf, .doc, .jpg, .png, .tiff, .psd, .pub, .ppt, .ai
Fonts: Flatten document files before you submitting. If you use a font in your design that is not in our library, there is a chance that the font you chose may be replaced by a system font.
Color Space: RGB color space is used for computer monitors and the internet only. CMYK colorspace is used in print production. If you design in RGB your files will have to convert to CMYK, which may cause color shifts. Best practice is to design using the CMYK colorspace.
Resolution: Dots per square inch (DPI) is a measurement of how much information is included in an image. Images should have a resolution of 300 dpi. Images with a DPI of less than 150 will print with pixelization. Low resolution errors and warnings will be identified on your print production proof. Please pay close attention to these warnings as they may affect the quality of the final product.

Why Dance School Owners Should Print a Day-of-the-Recital Order of Events Programs
For dance school owners, the recital is not just a showcase of their students’ hard work and talent but also a reflection of the school’s organization, quality, and attention to detail. One crucial aspect of staging a successful dance recital is providing a printed program that outlines the order of events. Here are compelling reasons why printing this document is essential for a smooth, professional presentation.
Enhances the Audience Experience
A printed program serves as a guide for your audience, helping them navigate through the performances of the day. It informs them about what to expect next, which is particularly helpful in recitals featuring multiple classes or age groups. This not only keeps the audience engaged but also makes the event more enjoyable by setting clear expectations.
Showcases Professionalism
Providing a well-designed, informative program reflects the professionalism of your dance school. It shows that you care about the finer details, contributing significantly to the school’s image and reputation. Parents and attendees are likely to appreciate the extra effort, seeing it as a sign of a well-organized, high-quality institution.
Facilitates Smooth Transitions
For the performers and backstage crew, a printed order of events is invaluable. It ensures everyone knows their cues, helping to manage transitions between numbers smoothly and efficiently. This organizational tool minimizes confusion and delays, which are often the biggest hurdles in maintaining the flow of a live performance.
Acts as a Keepsake
A beautifully crafted dance program can serve as a keepsake for students and their families, commemorating the hard work and success of the event. This is especially significant for graduating students or those marking important milestones in their dance careers. A program with a list of performers, special thanks, and perhaps a few photographs or personal notes makes a wonderful souvenir that families cherish for years.
Offers Advertising Space
The recital program can also be a potential revenue source. Dance schools can offer advertising space to local businesses or sponsors, which not only helps cover the costs of printing but also strengthens community ties. This strategy can be particularly effective in community-centered towns where local businesses benefit greatly from such exposure.
Provides Educational Value
For younger audience members or people new to dance, the program can include educational content such as the history of certain dance styles, terminology, or biographies of choreographers and senior dancers. This adds depth to the audience’s experience, making the recital not just a performance but an educational opportunity as well.
Inclusion & Accessibility
For family members who might not be as familiar with the event or for those with hearing impairments, a printed program can help make the recital more inclusive and accessible. It ensures that everyone, regardless of their familiarity with dance or ability to hear announcements, can follow along and fully enjoy the performance.
Conclusion
Printing a day-of-the-recital order of events program is more than just a courtesy; it’s an essential component of hosting a successful dance recital. It enhances the audience’s experience, supports the performers, elevates your school’s professional image, and can even serve as a marketing tool. Ultimately, a well-executed program is a small investment that pays off in making your recital a memorable and seamless event.
